Wyndham Clark & girlfriend Emily Tanner cap off a massive weekend with a win, Sox fans fight & a big CFB QB

I’m back in the saddle for this edition of Monday Screencaps all refreshed and freezing this morning in NW Ohio where it was 53 degrees when I sat down to pump out this content. Yes, 53 degrees. It’ll be 76 or so today, which should get a reaction out of the Texans and Floridians who, this time of year, want some of this weather like we want their weather in February.

Catch a flight to Detroit. Bring a hoodie.

Let’s dive right into weekend observations:

– Linda M. tells me: I own a bar in Coeur d’Alene Idaho some people call it a dive bar lots of TVs pool tables you know the kind of place no food just a bar,

DirecTV is charging over $6,000 for the NFL package! isn’t that ridiculous?but I have to have it, Sunday football pretty huge.

Love your articles by the way.

Kinsey: I ran this through Google Gemini, who estimates a bar would need to bring in an average of 15-18 extra patrons and get those patrons to drop $25-$30 per person to break even. I’ll dive in a little deeper to see how Linda justifies the cost and what the ROI is with the Ticket on her TVs.

Is the bar typically dead on a Sunday? Does having the Ticket pack the place?

– Bob in Cincy emails: I love reading your column, I try to get to it every day.  We were watching Life with the Walter Boys last night when one of our driveway cameras went off.  This was around 10:00 so we’re not expecting anyone.  I attached the video.  I’m guessing a flying bug or maybe a drone.  My wife wasn’t thrilled about it.  Have you ever had anything like this on your cameras?

Kinsey: I’m going with a bug or… a UFO.

ZERO BS. JUST DAKICH. TAKE THE DON’T @ ME PODCAST ON THE ROAD. DOWNLOAD NOW!

– Paul in Cincy knows it’s too soon for Halloween decorations: Just a stupid waste of good money:

That is it this morning. We’re just days away from legitimate college football. Not totally legitimate, but it’ll be something to watch on TV. Let’s put in a solid week of work, get our patios dialed in and keep Respecting Summer.

Have a good one.
