The Pasay city government conducted a workshop on making candle holders for 200 members of the Enlightened Mothers Incorporated (EMI) at the Pasay City Sports Complex on Thursday, Oct. 25.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said that aside from the members of the EMI, leaders from the Office of the Senior Citizens also participated in the activity.
Rubiano said the workshop aimed to teach EMI members create and design candle holders which they can sell for additional income.

She said the workshop was made possible through the help of Kui Kwan and Dana Lee from PLO Global School and Allan Borromeo from Collaboration Success Advance.
The mayor added that the workshop will also help participating senior citizens find leisure activity and earn extra income for their needs.
Rubiano said the workshop is also part of her HELP (Health care, housing; Education, Economic growth, environment; Livelihood, lifestyle; Peace and order, palengke (market) and pamilya (family) agenda to deliver better services to city residents.
