Your Song of Excellence 2023 – Taiwan Excellence’s search for the Philippines’ best singers and songwriters culminated its third year run recently at the Ayala Malls Market! Market! in Taguig, with tech giants Acer, ASUS, Predator and others joining co-presentors by Aromase, Derma Angel, and Johnson Fitness & Wellness in the Grand Finale.
The Top 3 Grand Finalists from both Singer Category and Songwriter Category fought their way to the big stage, but not after an energizing rendition of the Your Song of Excellence 2023 jingle by the celebrity judges Yeng Constantino, Arthur Nery, Ice Seguerra, and Paulo Zarate.
This Grand Finals performance round for the Singer Category was nothing short of amazing with 3 powerhouse performers and, in the end, Julius Cawaling came out triumphant with two equally hair-raising performances, beating runners up Louise Alivio and Alyssa Erasquin.
Another close race was the battle for Grand Champion in the Songwriter Category. Coming out on top is Lyndon Nagar winning over Juls Burce and Popa Elorde.
On attendance to present the awards were. Dustin Yang, Minister of Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines, Alex Lai, Director of Taiwan Trade Center Manila, Christine Kuo, Manager of Taiwan Trade Center Manila, Janine Tan, Senior Project Manager of Taiwan Trade Center Manila, Yvonne Hsiao, Project Manager of Taiwan External Trade Development Council, and Valerie Lin, Project Manager of Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
They were joined by representatives from Acer Philippines, Annie’s Way, ASUS Philippines, FECA PH, ible Tech, MSI Philippines, PC Express, Predator Gaming, Republic of Gamers, and Tatung.
