Another fair weather day in most parts of PH – Pagasa

MOST parts of the country could experience generally fair weather over the next 24 hours, the Philippine Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday.

Meanwhile, the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ), where winds from the southern and northern hemisphere meet is currently affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

“This ITCZ will bring isolated rain showers and thunderstorms on the said areas, but it will only last from 30 minutes to two hours ,” Pagasa weather forecaster James Villamil said.

Pagasa said cloud clusters were seen in areas of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, some parts of Calabarzon and the northern portion of Mindanao. Calabarzon is Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon.

These cloud clusters are associated with localized thunderstorms which could only last for a few hours, especially in the afternoon or at night.
