App lets vendors sell and deliver products direct to customers

A challenge in the agriculture industry is the number of layers between the farmer and the retail consumer. The internet has made this easy, allowing for apps that farmers can use to sell straight to their clients.

The newest player in the market is AgriSibol, a multi-vendor delivery platform where vendors can sell and have their products delivered directly to their clients. The app was conceptualized and coded by Danielle “Daynes” Limson, founder and Chief Technology Officer.

Limson’s interest in agriculture isn’t limited to tech. She is passionate about permaculture, having encountered it in the Netflix show Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

“AgriSibol has zero fees, we only add [a] 15% platform fee from [the] customer. It may be similar to the functionalities of… food delivery apps since it has geolocation, but what makes it special is the vision of the company,” Limson said, adding that AgriSibol’s goal is to launch a digital school by the second quarter of 2024.

The digital school will be a platform where content creators can make money by uploading educational videos. “[It] will let vendors earn from teaching,” Limson said. It will also offer an affiliate program that will allow members to receive a commission every time a purchase is made using their personal affiliate link.

For Limson, AgriSibol is just the beginning. She envisions a world that embraces permaculture. “Hoping in a few years time, we can introduce a village which will have [a] permaculture [area] inside… [where] the Home Association dues will cover for its maintenance and the residents inside can live a sustainable lifestyle where people can always pick from their “garden” and eat it,” she said.

For now, AgriSibol can be accessed via any browser at https://app.agrisibol.com, with the app launching by December 2023 or January 2024.
