The new MacBook Pro lineup delivers incredible performance, a brilliant Liquid Retina XDR display, a wide array of connectivity, and up to 22 hours of battery life for the ultimate in pro portability.

The M3 family of chips is the next generation of Apple silicon, which builds on the success of the M1 and M2 chips. The M3 chip is great for everyday tasks, pro apps and games. It has a 10-core CPU with four performance and six efficiency cores and a 16-core GPU with up to 2x faster graphics performance than the M2 chip. The M3 chip also has a 16-core Neural Engine for machine learning tasks and supports up to 32GB of unified memory.

The M3 Pro and M3 Max chips are designed for more demanding workflows, such as coding, video editing, 3D rendering, and machine learning. They have a 12-core CPU with eight performance and four efficiency cores and a 32-core or 64-core GPU with up to 4x or 8x faster graphics performance than the M2 chip, respectively. The M3 Pro and M3 Max chips also have a 32-core Neural Engine for machine learning tasks and support up to 64GB or 128GB of unified memory, respectively.

The new MacBook Pro models also have an improved camera, audio, and connectivity system. The built-in 1080p FaceTime HD camera delivers sharper video quality and better low-light performance. The six-speaker sound system provides immersive stereo sound with a wide dynamic range and spatial audio support. The extensive array of connectivity options includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, which support data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps, charging up to 100W, and external displays up to 6K resolution; an HDMI port that supports up to 8K resolution; an SDXC card slot that supports UHS-II speeds; a MagSafe port that magnetically attaches to the power adapter; and a headphone jack.

The new MacBook Pro models also offer the longest battery life ever in a Mac, with up to 22 hours of wireless web browsing or video playback on the M3 Max model. The battery life is achieved by the power efficiency of the M3 family of chips, which deliver the same performance whether plugged in or on the battery. The new MacBook Pro models also come with macOS Ventura, the latest version of Apple’s operating system that offers new features such as Universal Control, AirPlay to Mac, Shortcuts app, Focus mode, Quick Note app, Safari tab groups, FaceTime SharePlay, Live Text in photos, and more.

The new MacBook Pro models are available in three configurations:
