At its Lunar New Year gala, Fête Chinoise launches a new charity

Fête Chinoise magazine celebrated its ninth edition while ringing Lunar New Year at the Park Hyatt Toronto on Feb. 3. The gala featured art exhibitions, cultural displays, culinary stations and performances by the likes of Tyler Shaw and Wanting Qu. Mingling among the 600 guests were business leaders, celebrities, TV personalities, artists and politicians. Editor-in-chief and creative director Deborah Lau-Yu used the occasion introduce the Fête Chinoise Cultural Foundation, a new registered charitable fund for art and culture.
