Canada downs China to end VNL campaign with win

Canada took down China in four sets, 25-23, 25-21, 17-25, 25-18, to end their 2023 Men's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) campaign with a victory at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, July 9.

Stephen Maar and Ryan Sclater poured 19 points each to lead the Canadians, who picked up their first win in four games in this Philippine leg.

Canada, already eliminated, accumulated a 3-9 overall record in the tournament, good for 13th place.

China, also eliminated, fell to 2-10 to finish deadlast at 16th.
