In PAGASA’s latest live broadcast, weather specialist Veronica Torres said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt in the east portion of Davao region due to the shear line—a weather system where the cold northeasterly winds and warm easterlies converge.

PAGASA also warned of flash floods or landslides that may occur in the affected areas during moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or “amihan” may bring Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Norte, and Eastern Visayas cloudy skies with light rains, said PAGASA.

In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be felt also due to “amihan.”
