BRIGHT (AND WET) REVELRY. SM City Clark caps 2023 with the annual Sky Line Fireworks Festival in Pampanga, launched from its Tech Hub buildings. The mesmerizing 10-minute display was followed by visits to the food bazaar, lively entertainment, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude, creating lasting memories for all who attended. Celebrations also did not stop despite afternoon rain at the Quezon City Memorial Circle (inset), where revelers with umbrellas still crowded the stage to catch a glimpse of their favorite performers. Makati Avenue, meanwhile, transformed into a vibrant playground of nostalgia and future-forward fun with the “Nostalgia Meets the Future” New Year’s Eve Countdown tonight.

Filipinos relived the magic of 1999, the first-ever grand NYE bash in the country, featuring beloved stars like Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez, who performed alongside the P-Pop phenomenon SB19, Sponge Cola, Al James, and musical theater powerhouses led by Gab Pangilinan and Myke Salomon.

The free, open-air extravaganza transcended generations with immersive 3D visuals, a dazzling pyrotechnics show, and infectious beats spun by DJs Brian Cua and Mike Lavet.

Others dived into a world of festive magic at City of Dreams Manila, as they danced under the stars at CenterPlay’s countdown party, where live music and delicious bites fuel the revelry.

Eastwood Mall in Quezon City didn’t hold back with its equally stacked list of musical and celebrity performers.

The Metaverse Mayhem featured stars such as Morissette, KD Estrada, Alexa Ilacad, Silent Sanctuary, Sunkissed Lola, Armi Millare, Player Two, and 1st.One. The event will be hosted by Janeena Chan and Tito Mikee Reyes from 6pm onward.
