The arrival of Dy, Baron and Fajardo, according to sources, filled the spots vacated by Michelle Morente, Mean Mendrez and Anj Legacion.

Another source also revealed that Akari has secured a commitment from former Finals MVP Ced Domingo to play for the team but will only officially sign right after her team, Nakhon Ratchasima VC, concludes its campaign in the Thailand league anytime soon.

Domingo, if she eventually signs, will be another massive addition to a team that already snatched another superstar in Grethcel Soltones from Petro Gazz a few days ago.

They will join a team that already has battle-tested Dindin Santiago Manabat and prodigious Faith Nisperos and Fifi Sharma.

Akari is also set to find a successor to its former coach, Brazilian Jorge Souza de Brito, anytime soon. Creamline, meanwhile, has reportedly taken in Bea de Leon from Choco Mucho to help fill the gaping hole left by Domingo.

The Cool Smashers have also tapped libero Denden Lazaro-Revilla. With the departure of De Leon and Lazaro-Revilla, as well as Caithlyn Viray who has yet to sign a contract with other clubs, Choco Mucho acquired Mars Alba from F2, Mean Mendrez from PLDT and Bia General from Cignal.
