The unregistered food products, which the FDA deems “unsafe,” include “Ceonell Joint Complex Collage Type 2 Hyaluronic Acid Joint Specific Collagen Dietary Supplement,” “Ceonell Super Collagen Peptides Collagen 1 & 3 Unflavored Powder Dietary Supplement,” “Luxe Slim Promeal Taro Hearty Meal Diet Dietary Supplement,” and “Original Cy Love Seaweed Rosted Seasoned Seaweed.”

The FDA determined through online monitoring and post-marketing surveillance that these food products lack proper registration and corresponding Certificate of Product Registration (CPR).

Republic Act No. 9711, also known as the Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009, states that the manufacture, importation, exportation, sale, advertising, or distribution of health products without proper authorization is prohibited.

As these food products have not undergone evaluation, the FDA cannot guarantee their quality and safety.

The FDA also cautioned establishments against distributing, advertising, or selling these “violative food products” until they acquire the necessary Product Notification Certificate.
