Unfortunately, just a few days before the occasion, a majority of the group fell ill and had no choice but to cancel their plans. This was where Calle Nakpil, with its fine comfort food delivery services, was only too happy to save the day. While the group could not physically get together, the restaurant received an order to deliver comfort food for everyone so they could still “celebrate” apart.

The delivery comprised of porchetta, featuring crisp skin and incredibly tender meat, paired with Spanish rice. The dish has a variety of sauces, including chimichurri, an easy favorite.

It also had a generous serving of beef ragu pasta that was simply delectable.

And, as a one-stop-shop party food tray provider, Calle Nakpil also sent its amazing ube cheesecake for dessert.

Calle Nakpil, previously an off-premise catering company, transitioned to delivering party trays during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. As a family business with 13 years of experience, they are now gearing up to become a full-fledged restaurant service, offering dine-in and pick-up options.

The name itself reflects their offerings: “Calle,” meaning street in Spanish to represent the different cultures and flavors that come together in their dishes. “Nakpil,” on the other hand, is the name of the street where the business is located.
