Max Lens Mod 2.0 offers a remarkable 177-degree field of view at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, ensuring capture of every detail. With three field-of-view settings — max wide, max superview, and the new max hyperview — it fully utilizes the Hero12 Black's large 8:7 sensor, providing 36 percent wider views for widescreen video and 48 percent taller views for vertical video compared to the standard lens. Optimized encoding. Enjoy smaller file sizes without compromising image quality.

For those seeking convenience and control, the Hero12 Black offers a revamped user interface with simplified controls and a new Vertical Capture Mode, perfect for shooting vertical 9:16 aspect ratio videos when the camera is mounted horizontally, ideal for sharing on vertical social media platforms.

GoPro enhances the user experience with the Quik desktop app, available exclusively to GoPro subscribers at no extra cost. Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory. Expand your field of view with 36 percent wider perspectives for widescreen video and 48 percent taller views for vertical video. The lens boasts 2x more scratch-resistant glass and a durable hydrophobic coating to repel water drops.

Emmy award-winning video stabilization with 360-degree horizon lock. HyperSmooth 6.0 features AutoBoost, adjusting video stabilization as needed while maintaining minimal cropping margins. It also enables horizon leveling, even with full 360° camera rotation, using the Linear + Horizon Lock digital lens or all lens settings with the Max Lens Mod 2.0.
