HP prepares Spectre PCs with AI

CES 2024 has been shedding light on many tech innovations, HP among them. The company is gearing up for the future with new PCs, monitors, and peripherals, in what they perceive would reimagine how consumers interact with technology.

“We believe that the best innovations are also the most personal ones,” said Kong Meng Koh, managing director, Southeast Asia and Korea, HP. “New technologies from HP deliver solutions that allow us to be more personalized than ever, taking advantage of game-changing innovations like AI that will alter the way that technology moves us forward.”

Leading HP’s charge are the new Spectre X360 laptops. Now, these laptops, we’ve always been a big fan of them. They look great, premium, sleek and clean, and very professional. Once these laptops go out in sale, users will be able to utilize various AI features built into the Spectre X360.

These AI features include the 9MP camera, adapting to what it sees around you. So if you’re having a video call, the built-in AI chip will adjust the brightness for you. It also includes security features such as locking whenever you walk away – and this is a big deal, in my opinion, how many of us here have to leave our laptops in a rush and when we come back we learn someone has tampered your emails or gone through your personal documents? This security AI feature simply ensures you can suddenly leave your laptop and it will lock itself for you. The AI chip also has automatic performance optimization to balance our fan noise and temperature based on the apps running, laptop placement, and battery status.

Powering the Spectre X360 laptops will be Intel Core Ultra processors. These chips are new and part of Intel’s worldwide campaign to put AI into everything. On top of this, there is an option to include an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 – which is one hell of a graphics card for a laptop. So yes, game away. The AI will also sort out workloads like photo and video editing at a much faster pace.

The latest Spectre laptops are the first consumer devices to feature audio tuning by Poly. Poly brings decades of audio tuning experience to these devices, delivering the best voice clarity and remarkable sound. Further enhance calls and video with Windows Studio effects, which offload AI features like automatic framing, background blur, and the ability to maintain eye contact onto the NPU for engaging connections.

The latest Spectre laptops offer the world’s most immersive experience display, with up to a 2.8K OLED screen for sharper images and more vibrant colors, along with an IMAX Enhanced Certification for watching movies. Th

HP is also introducing new peripherals to adapt to your everyday digital experiences. Whether you’re an avid music lover, a tech-savvy professional, or simply someone who appreciates comfort and efficiency in your everyday interactions, HP’s range of products adapts to a broad spectrum of needs and lifestyles.

HP is reimagining its consumer displays lineup with its first HP Series 5 Monitors. Available in 24-, 27-, and 32- models, these displays now offer a 1500:1 contrast ratio and enhanced 100Hz refresh rates. Along with their thin and light design, effortlessly connect to multiple devices with an added HDMI port. The displays’ unifying design with ultra-thin bezels and integrated cable management easily allows connections of multiple monitors for a seamless look and feel.
