IP community receives Christmas presents from More Power

ILOILO CITY – An Ati Indigenous Peoples (IPs) tribe here received Christmas gifts from this city’s sole power distributor MORE Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power) of the Razon Group.

“We chose the Aeta tribe because there are many children who really need help. This year and the coming years, we plan to continue giving to various communities,” said Sarah Diana Habacon, human capital manager at MORE Power.

The highlight of the Christmas outreach was MORE Power employees giving personal donations to the Christmas wish list of the Ati children in the IP community in Barangay Lanit, Jaro District.

MORE Power brought the mascot of popular fast food chain Jollibee to entertain the Ati community.

A mother, Marina Castin, said it was not only their children who were excited to see the Jollibee mascot. Casin said she and her fellows parents were also excited to see the mascot that they only see on TV.

MORE Power handed over a check for the community’s livelihood and community projects.
