Filipino American Utah Jazz star Jordan Clarkson has arrived in the Philippines, in preparation for Gilas Pilipinas' training camp for the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
Clarkson arrived at terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport through Philippine Airlines flight PR 103 that came from Los Angeles, California in the United States.
Briefly speaking to reporters, Clarkson said it was great being back in Manila in preparation for the tournament and said there's a good chance that the host Philippine team has a chance of winning at least a game.
“I think we got a good chance to do some things. To win some games,” he said.
Clarkson is expected to practice with Gilas on Wednesday, as the Chot Reyes-led team will coming in from the Heyuan WUS International Basketball Tournament in China.
