KonsultaMD taps pharma, Singaporean firm for improved healthcare

Telehealth platform KonsultaMD, a joint venture of Globe Group, AC Health, and Salud Interactiva, is collaborating with a drugstore company and a Singaporean health firm to improve its healthcare services and access for customers.

KonsultaMD has partnered with Singapore Diagnostics (SGD), a leading medical diagnostics firm in Southeast Asia, to provide at-home and in-clinic healthcare services to Filipinos.

KonsultaMD CEO Cholo Tagaysay said the partnerships were established to make quality healthcare universal for Filipinos.

“By strategically partnering with different health institutions and pharmacies, we can empower our patients and make their healthcare journey hassle-free and convenient,” he said.

SGD is known for its wide customer base capacity that can cater up to 100,000 patients monthly, and its expertise in processing laboratory requirements for more than 600 healthcare institutions.

Singapore Diagnostics President and CEO Ritche Evidente said their firm “wants to bring world-class healthcare to as many Filipinos as possible,” citing stronger partnerships to achieve their visions.

KonsultaMD has also established ties with local drugstore chain Southstar Drug to purchase health and wellness items in the KonsultaMD SuperApp, particularly for customers in far-flung places.

“Through the digital transformation of healthcare, people across the Philippines can actively participate in ensuring the consistent availability of vital medications via online platforms, even in remote regions where physical pharmacies are limited,” said Southstar Drug General Manager Mariel Crisostomo.

KonsultaMD offers 24/7 telehealth services, aiming to achieve more “inclusive, accessible, and convenient” healthcare for Filipinos nationwide.
