Maja Salvador, Rambo Nuñez’s grand Bali wedding

The picturesque island of Apurva Kempinski Bali, Indonesia became the backdrop of the grand and star-studded wedding ceremony of actress-performer Maja Salvador and entrepreneur Rambo Nuñez.

Nuñez, 35, donned a classic black and white ensemble by Dolce & Gabbana, while Salvador, 34, wore an elegant Zuhair Murad off-shoulder lace gown with full sleeves and a semi-transparent white laced veil. She paired the intricate gown with Jimmy Choo stilettos.

On Instagram, the couple posted a photo of them in front of the altar. They wrote in the caption, “MR Forever [white heart emoji] 31 July 2023.”

The post was filled with congratulatory messages from their celebrity friends including Nadine Lustre, Bella Padilla, Hidilyn Diaz, Sanya Lopez, Aga Muhlach, Sunshine Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez, among many others.

Salvador's bridesmaids were Kathryn Bernardo, Maine Mendoza, Janella Salvador and Kakai Bautista. Actors Adrian Alandy and Marco Alcaraz, on the other hand, among Nuñez's groomsmen.

Meanwhile, the night before their wedding on July 30, the couple hosted a warm and joyous welcome dinner at the luxurious Apurva Kempinski Bali resort.

The event was attended by celebrities such as John Lloyd Cruz, Joshua Garcia, Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, Miles Ocampo, MJ Lastimosa, Kakai Bautista, Thou Reyes, and Moi Marcampo.

Nuñez’s groomsmen including celebrities Adrian Alandy and Marco Alcaraz.

With Salvador’s bridesmaids, among them Kathryn Bernardo, Maine Mendoza, Janella Salvador and Kakai Bautista.

The highlight of the evening was Cruz's message to Nuñez. A video was posted on the Instagram account of user @majinglez showing Cruz expressing his heartfelt message to the couple.

“Alagaan nyong mabuti ang isa't isa, unawain nyo ang isa't isa. Maj, irespeto mo yang asawa mo, Rambo ikaw din, ingatan mo yang kapatid ko naging napakabuti nyan sa akin. Mahal na mahal ko yan. (Take good care of each other, understand one another. Maj, respect your husband, and Rambo, you too, take care of my sister; he has been so good to me. I love her dearly),” said Cruz in Tagalog.

“Gusto ko na ring magpasalamat sa iyo Rambo kasi alam ko paulit-ulit mong tinutulungan si Maj na abutin ang mga pangarap nya sa buhay. Mapangarap yan sobrang mapangarap 'yan, in other words ambisyosa yan. (I also want to thank you, Rambo, because I know how tirelessly you've been helping Maj reach her dreams in life. She's very ambitious, incredibly ambitious),” Cruz added, eliciting laughter from the crowd.

A few days before their wedding, the couple released their prenup photos taken in Cairo, Egypt with the Giza pyramids as backdrop.

Salvador and Nuñez became a couple in 2010 but separated after four months. The actress confirmed their rekindled romance in March 2019. They got engaged in April 2022.
