Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna announced that the city government has already begun accepting business permit renewal applications for 2024.

The mayor urged all business owners in Manila to use the “GO! Manila App” to settle their business renewals and pay business taxes and other regulatory fees.

Lacuna-Pangan said the digital application aims to make the process convenient, while help desks are still provided in certain shopping malls for those who are not yet familiar with the use of the digital app.

She said help desks will also assist business owners by providing a GO! Manila App tutorial.

Business owners may also access the app for services such as transfer of ownership and business records on hold or with inspection.

The Bureau of Permits, headed by Levi Facundo, also provided a quick guide on the services being provided by the local government at the following electronic Business One-Stop Shop or e-BOSS help desk locations:

  • SM City Manila, 4th floor
  • Robinsons Manila, third-floor Food Court area
  • Lucky Chinatown in front of the chapel
  • Tutuban Shopping Mall, second-floor Primeblock near Cellphone City
  • 168 Shopping Mall third-floor food court area
  • Isetann, ground floor at the government services area.

The mall services are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The e-BOSS Lounge located on the ground floor of the Manila City Hall also accepts business permit applications and is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

“You may also reach us via email at [email protected], via landline at 8527-0871, or via e-BOSS Viber Group. Just scan the QR code provided for in the bureau’s Facebook account),” said Facundo.

He said that the deadline for the renewals is on Jan. 20, where applicants may avail of a 10-percent discount if they pay on or before the set deadline.

Facundo said that the deadline stays the same unless the mayor extends it, in which case the discount no longer applies.

He said there will be penalties for those who fail to meet the deadline.
