MANILA, Philippines — Original Pilipino Music (OPM) icons will team up for the upcoming "YuleStars: A Christmas Concert Series" to be held at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City on November 30 to December 2 at 8:30 pm.
Dubbed as a "Christmas musical spectacle," the series will feature Joey Generoso and Angeline Quinto on November 30, with Ice Seguerra as a special guest; Jose Mari Chan, Christian Bautista, and Roselle Nava on December 1; and Ogie Alcasid, Nina, and Seguerra once again on December 2.
The singers have lined up a repertoire of their best-loved songs and all-time favorite Christmas carols, particularly Chan.
"The season of Christmas is just around the corner. A time for giving, sharing, forgiving and celebrating the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ," TicketWorld announced on its Facebook account.
The concert series will also serve as a fundraising activity to generate resources for the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association Inc. (PMAAAI) to fulfill its mission helping less fortunate members and their dependents for death benefits, hospitalization, and educational assistance.
"YuleStars promises to be a night filled with your favorite music and good 'ol memories of Christmas," the ticketing company said.
"It also aims to generate funds that will be used to support the operational commitments of PMAAAI and in promoting the welfare of retirees as well as in supporting the humanitarian activities of various PMA Classes," it added.
