Pasay police on full alert for Undas

The Pasay City police has been placed on full alert to ensure that places of convergence, churches, cemeteries and bus terminals will be closely monitored during the observance of Undas.

Pasay City police chief Col. Froilan Uy said all areas of convergence in the city are generally peaceful and no untoward incident was reported.

He said the police will remain deployed in critical areas such as NAIA Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4, MRT 3 Taft Station, LRT 1 Baclaran, Taft, Libertad, EDSA Stations, and bus terminals.

He said more policemen were deployed to assist passengers in the BBL/DLTB, Victory Liner, JAC Liner, 5 Star Partas, and Genesis bus terminals as well as to malls in the city such as Mall of Asia, Double Dragon, W Mall, Metropoint, and Baclaran Mall.

Uy said they also set up police assistance desks (PAD) in all cemeteries and churches in the city such as Sgt. Mariano Public Cemetery, Pasay Public Cemetery, St. Therese Columbarium Newport Blvd., and Roman Catholic Cemetery along Arnaiz. San Isidro Church, Sta Clara de Monteclaro Church, Our Lady of Sorrow Church, San Rafel and San Roque Church, Mary Comforter of the Affected Parish, Our Lady of the Airways, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish Church and Shrine of Jesus Church.
