In Pangasinan, Evangelista inspected various convergence points, including CSI Mall Dagupan, Solid North Terminal, and the Dagupan firecracker selling area with the BFP and City DRRMO in preparation for heavier foot traffic around the end of the year.

“Our comprehensive security plan for ‘Ligtas Paskuhan 2023’ aims to ensure a safe and secure Christmas and New Year for everyone in the Ilocos region,” said Evangelista.

“The ultimate goal is to provide security and peace of mind to our communities before, during, and after the Yuletide season.”

He reminded lawmen to prioritize their safety while diligently performing their duties.

More than 2,000 police personnel were deployed across the region to maintain peace and order in the holiday season.
