Flanked by Ethan Kaw, the Green Knights are seeking to remain at the pinnacle after winning the 10th Invitational Basketball Tournament last year. But this time, they will have to do it under the guidance of their new head coach Luis Nolasco.

SJCS opens its campaign against Pace Academy of coach Mike Oliver at Uno High School Gym in this tourney sponsored by Jumbo Plastic Linoleum and St. Stephen High School serving as this season’s host.

But the Green Knights have their work cut out for them with seven other teams looking to kick it out of its throne led by the Pacers.

Also among the contenders include MGC-New Life Christian Academy of coach James Sia, Philippine Cultural College of coach Lester del Rosario, and Jubilee Christian Academy of coach Benjie Sipin.

Completing this year’s field are St. Stephen High School of coach Steven Tan, Grace Christian College of coach RJ Guevarra, and Uno High School of coach Matthew Yu.

Hope Christian High School has also been admitted as a new member of the PCYAA and it is set to participate in the other sporting disciplines throughout the season.
