Swarovski afternoon tea now available in Raffles Hotel Makati

MANILA, Philippines — Ever fancied eating Swarovski crystals?

Besides that Swarovskis are expensive, the brand has not yet figured out a way to make its crystals edible. Until such time, one can enjoy Swarovskis and treat oneself and/or loved ones and friends to an early Christmas afternoon tea inspired by Swarovski.

The Writers Bar of Raffles Hotel in Makati City is offering a limited-time and exclusive Swarovski Sparkling Afternoon Tea Delight set until November 27, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. daily. Each set for two starts at P3,000 nett, which includes a choice of premium TWG tea or coffee with optional upgrades for mocktail, cocktails, and champagne. The set was crafted by Raffles’ culinary artisans as an interpretation of the brand’s Austrian heritage, innovation, and savoir-faire since 1895 in 2023. The high tea menu features a variety of savory and sweet treats featuring the iconic swan and the vibrant brand colors of Swarovski. Some of the must-try canapés on the menu are the Seared Tuna with Mango Cilantro Salsa, Green Mango Tart with Sea Grapes, and Vegan Cheese Bruschetta with Calamansi Pearls for savories; and the Crystal Glazed reinvented Raspberry Linzer, Cube of Sacher Cake and Crystal inspired Praline for sweets. Scones, of course, are included. You can choose from Classic and Apple Studel, a popular pastry in Austria.
