The Ford Bronco is coming to the Philippines

Ford Philippines is giving the adventurous a new toy to explore rugged terrain with: the Ford Bronco. This rugged 4×4 SUV was inspired by the original Bronco of the 80’s and has been reborn to compete with the likes of the Jeep Wrangler and Land Rover Defender.

While Ford currently offers the Bronco in three versions in the US: Bronco (three-door and five-door), Bronco Raptor, and Bronco Sport, it is very likely that the middle spec Bronco five-door will be offered.

Built on a conventional ladder frame platform, powered by an efficient but powerful Ford EcoBoost engine, and utilizing a transfer case-based 4×4 system, the SUV has been long-anticipated by fans of off-roading, car camping, and overlanding alike. In addition, this particular Bronco features a removable roof, allowing owners to truly take in the sights.

For those eager adventurers, the prayer has finally been answered as Ford has officially confirms its impending arrival this year with an official statement.

“Ford Philippines is confirming the launch of the Ford Bronco this year. It will soon be open for reservation exclusively via the Ford online reservation portal at www.ford.com.ph, and will be supported by all Ford dealers nationwide. More information including product specifications and reservation timings will be shared closer to launch date.”

While Ford has yet to announce a specific launch date, many are speculating it will be unveiled at this year’s 2024 Manila International Auto Show. Prices have yet to be revealed too, yet based on the vehicle’s capabilities, it is likely to be priced within the same area as Ford’s other 4×4 vehicles, the Ranger and Everest.

Due to the high demand for the vehicle in many other countries, it is likely the Ford will only be able to offer a very limited number of units. As such, if you’ve been eagerly awaiting its arrival, it’s best to place your reservation as early as now before stocks run out.
