Traffic scheme for MMFF Parade of Stars released

The local governments of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela (Camanava) has announced the traffic scheme to help motorists during Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars that will pass though the cities’ roads on Saturday, Dec. 16.

According to the Camanava local government units and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the parade will start at 2 p.m. at Navotas Centennial Park and will travel through C4 and Samson Roads, and Mc Arthur Highway up to the Valenzuela People’s Park where the program’s main event will take place.

They will implement a temporary lane closure and counterflow starting 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. on C-4 Road (from Navotas Centennial Park to A Mabini St.), Samson Road (from A. Mabini St. to Monumento Circle), and Mc Arthur Highway (from Monumento Circle to C. Santos Street)

The roads will be opened after all the floats have passed.

Motorists heading towards C-4 Road (Navotas Centennial Park – A. Mabini St.) are advised to drive from Malabon to Navotas, and take Gov. Pascual and M.H, Del Pilar St.

Vehicles coming from Samson Road (A. Mabini St. – Monumento Circle) are advised to take Gov. I Santiago Road, M.H. Del Pilar St., and Samson Road.

Motorists going to McArthur Highway (Monumento circle – C. Santos St.) may use the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Northbound and Southbound.
