What cars to expect at the Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival (PCTDF) at Mall of Asia

What better way to decide on your next vehicle than to test drive them one after the other and even against competitors? You can do all these at the Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival (PCTDF), the country’s biggest outdoor motoring event of its kind, is now ongoing, from November 17-19. Presented by Caltex in cooperation with SM Offices and the SM Mall of Asia Complex, the country’s leading car manufacturers and distributors will showcase their latest models and offer test drives to visitors at Block 16 of the SM MOA Concert Grounds throughout the 4-day exhibition.

Organized annually by Sunshine Television (STV), the multi-brand drive fest will feature a wide range of sedans, SUV’s, sports cars, multi-purpose vehicles, vans and pickups, as well as hybrids and full electric vehicles. The list of participants includes: Changan, Ford, GAC, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, and Toyota.

Here is just a peak of what the brands present have in store.

GAC Motor

At the heart of the GAC Motor booth is the brand’s current line-up, featuring the sophisticated seven-seater GS8 4WD SUV, the crowd-pleasing GS3 Emzoom, the dynamic Empow performance sedan, and the technologically advanced Emkoo SUV. Each of these models stands as a testament to GAC Motor’s unwavering dedication to meticulous craftsmanship, exceptional product quality and services, cutting-edge technology, and engineering excellence, all supported by a robust supply chain fortified by globally renowned brands.

Suzuki

Interested customers or patrons only need to go to the Suzuki booth at the venue and register. Once this is done, they can get behind the wheels of the company’s well-known and much-loved cars such as the Suzuki Jimny, the new Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid, the Suzuki XL7, the compact sedan Dzire and the head-turning all-new S-Presso AGS. Refreshments and free coffee will be available for customers who will avail of the test drive opportunities.

First-time car buyers are also encouraged to check the Suzuki booth. Cash discounts, low down payment offers and installment plans are on hand for Ertiga Hybrid and XL7 units. Mitsubishi

Visit Mitsubishi Motors’ booth at the 4-day outdoor test drive activity in Mall of Asia Concert Grounds from November 16 to 19, 2023 to enjoy additional special promo on top of the already incredible offers mentioned above. Hyundai

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) is back at Block 16 Mall of Asia Concert Grounds for the Auto Focus Test Drive Festival.

Hyundai Motor just recently introduced its newest multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) in the country, the Custin and Stargazer X. The Custin, the latest nameplate added to its lineup, embodies luxurious comfort inside and out. Taking cues from a private jet, it flaunts second row captain seats with a 10-way power seat adjustment featuring a zero-gravity position for the ultimate passenger comfort. This is complimented by a large 10.4-inch infotainment system that is intuitive and user-centric as well as Hyundai’s SmartSense safety suite which includes ADAS functions. All these while producing a well-tuned yet fuel efficient drive because of its turbo-charged Smartstream engine.

Whereas the X, is the sportier and bolder trim of the Stargazer. Based on the said model’s GLS premium variant, it offers all the same best-in-class convenience and technology features, but now in a more athletic and premium package. The Stargazer X has been fitted with a black roof with rails alongside a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Its inside has already been redesigned with a new piano black dashboard alongside red stitching on the seats. These have been made even better with the integration of an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Autohold for added protection and space. Both of which can be test driven in addition to the Creta, Staria and Tucson.

For those in search of greener mobility options, they can see and feel the difference that the IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 offers. Awarded as back-to-back World Car of the Year winners, these two (2) have redefined what electric vehicles (EVs) can look and be like. Both, for the first time, are available for test drive with a limited-edition IONIQ 5 die cast car awaiting on-site reservations.

The brand’s signature café, in partnership with Brew + Bakes, will also be present to serve freshly made hot and cold beverages for free on all four (4) days.

Ford

Ford Philippines is bringing its experiential test drive event Ford Island Conquest (FIC) to the annual Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival on November 16-19, 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.

Motoring fans and enthusiasts can check out the Next-Gen Territory Titanium X and Next-Gen Ranger Wildtrak 4×4 on display, while they can test drive the Next-Gen Territory Titanium and Titanium X, Next-Gen Ranger Raptor, Next-Gen Wildtrak 4×4 and Wildtrak 4×2, and Next-Gen Everest 4×2.

Customers who will make a reservation at the 4-day event are entitled to pick a prize, where a cash discount of up to P100,000 is up for grabs. Other prizes include cash discounts of P50,000 P30,000, P20,000, P10,000, Next-Gen Vehicle Accessories Pack, ARB director’s chairs, air purifiers, dash cameras, P3,000 worth of fuel vouchers, and premium bags.

On top of these discounts and prizes are various deals available on the Ford Ranger and Ford Territory as part of Ford’s Year-End Sale (YES) until December 31, where customers can get a P30,000 cash discount, or P99,000 all-in low downpayment, or P13,000 low monthly fee with a purchase of a Next-Gen Territory Titanium 1.5L EcoBoost. The Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. On-road test drive is until 6:00 p.m. while test drive activities inside the event vicinity is until 9:00 p.m. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
