Weather specialist Joey Figuracion said in Metro Manila, “as low as” 17°C to 36°C temperature may be expected.

He noted that the peak of “cooler weather” will be from December to February 2024.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon will still affect Northern Luzon while the easterlies will prevail in the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in the next 24 hours.

In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said Aurora, Apayao, Batanes, and Cagayan including the Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with rains while the Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by northeast monsoon or “amihan.”

In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will be felt due to the localized thunderstorms and easterlies or the warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms in the affected areas.
