It said that while “some minor architectural, mechanical and electrical works are still being undertaken, none of these will materially affect our school operations, nor do they pose any safety risks to our community.”

In addition, the deans of the Ateneo Law School and the Graduate School of Business will also release separate memos regarding the timetables for the return to onsite work, as well as face-to-face classes.

“We thank the Makati Local Government for facilitating the release of all necessary permits to make it possible for us to return to campus, and our university Central Facilities Maintenance Office for overseeing this major renovation project on our behalf,” the Ateneo wrote.

The Ateneo Rockwell campus has been closed since June 16, as the building underwent renovations, such as the upgrading of air conditioning units, the replacement of elevators, as well as electrical rewiring.
