‘Barbie the Album’ to host dance blowout party

The much-anticipated release of “Barbie the Movie” has generated immense excitement, and the buzz surrounding its soundtrack is no exception. Each song featured in the film has been unveiled one by one, from the electrifying “Dance the Night” by superstar Dua Lipa to the rap queens Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice's iconic rendition of Aqua's hit, “Barbie Girl,” titled “Barbie World.”

Adding to the frenzy is the inclusion of the high-energy track “Barbie Dreams” by K-Pop group Fifty Fifty, featuring Atlanta-born rapper Kaliii. This lively song tastefully infuses an interpolation of Janet Jackson's “Together Again,” evoking a nostalgic appeal.

Thrilled Filipino fans eager to immerse themselves in the entire “Barbie the Album” are in for a treat, as Warner Music Philippines has joined forces with the Studio Dance Club to present an exclusive pre-release dance blowout party. Scheduled to take place on July 20, the event promises an unforgettable experience.

Guests will have the opportunity to dance the night away under the guidance of five skilled dance instructors, who will teach all the Barbies and Kens the moves to the album's tracks. Participants are encouraged to arrive in their finest Barbiecore and Ken-ergy outfits, perfectly complementing the venue's Barbie-inspired decor.

Themed Barbie and Ken drinks will be served along with a complimentary dinner will be provided. An immersive disco-themed photo area, inspired by Dua Lipa's “Dance the Night” music video, will be set up, allowing guests to capture glamorous moments.

Those who cannot secure tickets, an array of other Barbie-themed activities still await. Among them is the enchanting BarbieLand setup at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium, where visitors can step into Barbie's world. Highlights include life-sized displays, delectable Barbie-themed donuts and beverages, as well as a mirror-and-jukebox setup to sing along to the album's hottest pre-released tracks and capture fabulous photos.

The deluxe version of “Barbie the Album” will be released on July 28.
