Cendy Asusano queen in javelin throw, grabs second APG gold

After ruling the shot put event on Sunday, Cendy Asusano topped the women's F54 javelin throw this time in the 12th ASEAN Para Games at the Morodok Techo Stadium on Monday, June 5.

Asusano made a 13.47m throw to win her second gold in the ongoing Games and the Philippines 10th overall.

Asusano defeated compatriot Marites Burce who settled for silver with a throw of 11.96m. Tran Thi Tu of Vietnam completed the podium, seizing the bronze with an 11.87m throw.
