Gary Bejino took his second gold medal in the 12th ASEAN Para Games after ruling the men's 200m freestyle S6 event with a clocking of 2:38.55 at the Morodok Aquatic Center on Monday, June 5.
Bejino, who established a new ASEAN Para Games standard time of 5:38.260 in his golden performance in the 400m freestyle S6 yesterday, was way ahead of the two other podium finishers.
Silver medalist Channi Wongnonthaphum of Thailand and bronze winner Do Thanh Hai of Vietnam registered 2:53.100 and 2:54.230, respectively.
In the process, Bejino delivered the Philippines' ninth overall gold medal in the ongoing Para Games.
