NCAA MVP Mycah Go joins PVL new team Farm Fresh

NCAA Season 97 MVP Mycah Go has joined the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) new team Farm Fresh Foxies.

The Foxies announced their signing of Go in a video of the CSB Lady Blazers open hitter stretching, warming up, and doing some volleyball drills posted on their social media pages on Sunday evening, June 4.

“It's almost time to try again, to fight again, to play ball again. Can't back down now, can't be afraid. Mycah Go. Start fresh with Farm Fresh,” were the text in the said video.

Farm Fresh captioned it: “Welcome to a new beginning! Welcome to the #FarmFreshStart. The Farm Fresh fam is joining spiker Mycah Go in her quest for a restart in her volleyball career. Watch her and the rest of the Foxies in the Premier Volleyball League starting June 29!”

Go, however, is likely to see limited action since she's still recovering from an ACL injury she sustained last January, causing her to miss the rest of the NCAA Season 98 women's volleyball tournament which CSB swept. Go and the Lady Blazers also swept the Season 97 last year.

Go, who still has at least two playing years left in the NCAA, was the first player that Farm Fresh announced as a member of its team when it plays in the PVL Invitational Conference which will start on June 29.

The Foxies are reportedly bringing in the Lady Blazers core for their campaign and the players will use the Games and Amusement Board's (GAB) Special Guest License (SGL) to keep their collegiate eligibility and return to the NCAA in Season 99 next year.
