Cops probe robbery incidents in QC

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is investigating robbery incidents in Barangay Teacher’s Village East, Quezon City, the police public information office said on Saturday, Nov. 18.

QCPD said the suspect is wearing a maroon shirt, short pants,with a white towel on his shoulder, a white bull cap.

However the suspect is still unidentified.

Report showed concerned citizen of Barangay Teacher’s Village East reported to authorities that a bicycle-riding man entered a house on Madasalin St., in the same barangay at around midnight, on Wednesday, Nov. 15.

According to the operatives, the suspect allegedly stole assorted imported goods, wines, and shoes.

In a closed-circuit television footage from barangay officials, the suspect was seen leaving the area on board his bicycle with the alleged stolen items.

The following day, Thursday, Nov. 16, the suspect was also reported to have entered another house on Maamo St. and stole items.

The village chiefs of both Teachers’ Village East and Sikatuna headed by Letlet Singson and Mitch Cruz, respectively, and Kagawad Eric Mojica coordinated with the police in investigating the robbery incidents and to identify the suspect.

According to PMaj. Agustin Ublas stated that he instructed the operatives to conduct backtracking of CCTV footage.

Police said that Kagawad Mojica will file a complaint if the suspect is identified.
