The Thompson Landry Gallery in the Distillery District was the site of the annual Peach Party, an intimate dinner chaired by Glenn Dixon and sponsored by Hologic, which raised funds for the Breast Cancer Support Fund. The organization helps women facing financial crisis while being treated for breast cancer, by providing grants for basic necessities such as rent, transportation, child care and wigs. BCSF also launched a program that provides free, nutritious meals to the homes of low-income patients who are undergoing treatment.
