DOH said this page has been using the department’s name and logo to imitate the national government agency, leading to the public being misled by false information.

“The said page is fake and is not in any way or form affiliated with the DOH,” the health department said.

The DOH further emphasized the importance of referring to its official channels for accurate and trustworthy information.

For official DOH posts and announcements, the public was advised by the DOH to visit the department’s official website and its social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter, which can be accessed through DOHgovph and www.doh.ph.

This warning is part of DOH’s ongoing efforts to combat misinformation and ensure the public receives reliable and accurate health information.

The Health Department also underscored the importance of verifying the authenticity of online sources, especially to crucial matters related to public health.
