Maxene Magalona graces luxury brand’s store opening days before Francis M claims

MANILA, Philippines — Last October 12, five days before former flight attendant Abegail Rait and her daughter Gaile Francesca guested on “Pinoy Pawnstars” to sell Francis Magalona’s jersey for P500,000, and claim that Abegail was the "Master Rapper's" lover and Gail Francesca was their daughter, Francis’ daughter with Pia Magalona, actress Maxene Magalona, was all smiles as she graced the opening of an international fashion brand’s new store in Greenbelt 5, Makati City.

Maxene even posed together with fellow actresses Max Collins and Michelle Vito, and beauty queen Celeste Cortesi, with their Coach bags. Also in attendance were actors Kyline Alcantara, LA Aguinaldo, and Coleen Garcia Crawford with their bags from the brand’s Shine collection. Among the other guests were beauty queens Christi McGarry and Emmanuelle Vera.

Located in the Greenbelt 5 ground floor, the new space was designed to create an elevated shopping experience that blends the house’s heritage design language with expressive aesthetic pops that evoke the playful spirit of today’s generation.

Opened in the Philippines by Stores Specialists Inc. Group (SSI), the store offers the latest Shine collection, which introduces the iconic Tabby and new Penn bag available in metallic and patent iterations, as well as the “Coach Shapes” bags in playful and expressive silhouettes like bananas, lips, star and dog bone. Beside the store is a pop-up shop with a curation of the brand’s men’s pieces.

A global fashion house founded in New York in 1941, Coach presents in the new store its latest collection inspired by the vision of Creative Director Stuart Vevers and the inclusive and courageous spirit of its hometown. The brand is under Tapestry Inc., publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker TPR.
