Olivia Quido-Co develops first and exclusive Miss Universe-branded skincare line

In an exciting turn of events, celebrated US-based Filipino-Chinese skin expert and avid Miss Universe supporter Olivia Quido-Co officially announced that she now holds the title of President and CEO of the Miss Universe skincare and spa division.

Fresh from Thailand, where she met with Miss Universe President Anne Jakratutatip to finalize her appointment, the position allows Co not just the prestige of providing skincare for pageant candidates as she has done in the past but to actually formulate Miss Universe's own product range for their exclusive use.

As expectedly, the groundbreaking announcement sent ripples of excitement through the beauty industry, especially in this pageant-crazy nation of the Philippines.

With an air of humility and gratitude, Co thanked a higher power for the opportunity to go global with her innovative creations.

“If you want to exude unparalleled confidence and beauty in every moment, then the Miss Universe Skincare line is your ultimate answer,” the well-loved balikbayan businesswoman asserted while previewing the now highly-anticipated skincare range.

Held at an Ortigas Center hotel, Miss O, as she is fondly called by her social media followers, unveiled nine promising products that were meticulously crafted for the official candidates of the 2023 Miss Universe competition which takes place amid the breathtaking landscape of El Salvador on November 18.

Co furthered that the grand launch of this first of its kind skincare line is scheduled to unfold at prestigious beauty convention in Turkey, promising an opulent affair in the coming months.

Fittingly, Co, who is generally a solo act for her company in media appearances, shared the exciting developments in her mother land with husband Jason Co beside her. Ever active behind the scenes of the business and in supporting his popular wife, it turns out that Jason finally agreed to a more visible position as vice president of the Miss Universe skincare and spa division.

Now a power couple, the Cos said they are determined to revolutionize the global beauty and wellness scene hand in hand.

Miss O made sure she took time in the media conference to acknowledge Jakratutatip's critical part in the birth of the Miss Universe Skincare line, declaring it was all the organization president's vision to create products that would bestow beauty queens age-defying results.

“It was really Anne Who encouraged me to formulate products that can make us look and feel young even when we reach the golden age of 75,” Co shared as she also emphasized the deep respect and partnership she has with the business mogul.

As anticipation for the Miss Universe Skincare quickly started its crescendo, it is certain that the name Olivia Quido-Co will soon be etched into the annals of beauty history, leaving an indelible mark on the realm of glamour and confidence, that will always proudly bear a touch of Filipino.
